War Horse gallops to West End

A play about a horse sent to the front during the First World War is leading a recession-busting charge by British theatre. Stephanie West reports.
Based on the best-selling children's book by Michael Morpurgo, War Horse has just transferred to the West End in London, with advance ticket sales of more than £1.5m.
In fact, despite the hard times, theatre bookings are five per cent up on 2008, which itself set records. Our Arts Reporter Stephanie West went to meet the men who created the extraordinary horse.
