Patchy frost and fog at first. Rain in west later.

Today
Frosty in places at first with patchy dense fog. This should gradually clear during the morning, but may linger into the afternoon in some spots. Otherwise there will be some sunshine, with rain spreading into Northern Ireland during the afternoon.

Tonight
Rain will spread eastwards into Scotland, Wales and western England overnight. Eastern England should stay dry although it is likely to turn misty with patchy fog forming.

Tuesday
Cloudy with outbreaks of mainly light rain, although it should become dry and brighter across Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and western parts of England.
